Rock & Rye is a Grateful Dead tribute band from Chicago that has played and headlined festivals and venues in and around Chicagoland since 2014. The group pulls influence from the Grateful Dead’s vast catalogue of originals and covers, including from Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, and The Beatles. They can play everything from acoustic to high energy electric sets. Rock & Rye tries to recreate the Grateful Dead's diverse repertoire of music while upholding the fun and free-spirited mindset from which it was initially created.
