Chicago-based, Ohio-born singer-songwriter Nick Wilkinson draws from his rural upbringing to deliver unapologetically on wanderlust and love. Acting as a solo singer/songwriter and when joined by his band, "The Featured Players", Wilkinson is known for his high-energy and engaging performances, which have been known as “theater rock” in some circles. Out of the Blue called them " a touch of Cash fused with early 90’s Barenaked Ladies style rock.”
Wilkinson is known for building a loyal following and selling out venues like Musica, Jilly’s Music Room, Ace of Cups, and more. In Chicago, you can find him hosting the Taproom Open Mic helping to cultivate a community of aspiring and practicing songwriters and playing Uncommon Ground, Subterranean, and Reggie’s Music Joint.
The songwriter’s latest release is a collaboration with Telethon (Milwaukee) and Steven Page (formerly of the Barenaked Ladies) called “My Sister is Bigfoot” which is available on all streaming services. He’s also released the first in a series of live recordings handpicked and mixed by the band which is available on all major streaming services.
