Mistaken Identity (MiD) is one of the best party bands in the Chicagoland area available for festivals, corporate events, fundraisers, private events, clubs and touring opener.

Rock Bands

Mistaken Identity has been rocking stages since 1986 in one form or other thanks to Mike Restivo. The Original band was started by Joe Frehe and Marty Hitzeman, but didn’t take off until the addition of Mike Restivo. Mike has kept the band alive through the 90s and 2000s until returning to the original line up in January of 2017. Melissa Leggaro (aka Missy Snot Rocker) joined the band in January 2018 and has lifted MiD to even greater heights with her powerful vocals. Additionally, MiD has a roster of additional talent. MiD plays original material, and popular rock, pop, classic rock and country music.

Mistaken Identity has opened for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Chicago, 38 Special, Kashmir and headlined festivals and clubs throughout the  Chicagoland Area, IL, WI, MI, IA, TN.
