Marz aka Michael Rice Jr. was born in Oxford Miss and has been raised in Chicago since he was only a few weeks old. Marz interest in music first begun when listening to his father record artist thru out his childhood. At the age of 14 Marz would start to take music seriously and haven’t stop grinding since.
Marz is definitely a star in the making as he brings a gritty melodic flow that has captivated many in the city of Chicago and across the globe. Lately Marz has been gaining much attention in the music industry and 2021 has been a breakout year for Marz. He has been on Shade 45 with DJ Kayslay and the release of his recent single Patek has garnered much attention. On Spotify Patek has received over 200k + streams and he has also received a plaque for Patek reaching top 40 on iTunes.
