MARLON AND THE SHAKES is a Chicago band that offers up a perfectly mixed musical cocktail of funk, blues and rock music. The group has delivered infectious grooves and to countless private events, weddings, clubs, and festivals across the country since 2017.  Performance highlights include playing the Pioneer Pro stage at Namm 2020, headlining Lincolnwoodfest 2020 and 2021, Lobster Fest Milwaukee and Chicago, 2021 New Years Eve at Navy Pier, and Throwback Fest 2022.

Most recently THE SHAKES embarked on a musical project called "12 In Twelve", where the band wrote, recorded, and released one song a month for an entire year.  The project yielded a concoction of R&B, pop, alternative, and rock songs that have gained the attention of listeners from Ukraine to the U.S.  The "12 In Twelve" singles can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, and anywhere you can stream new music.
