Louie Zagoras: A Rock and Blues Pioneer

With a career spanning decades, Louie Zagoras is a seasoned musician and the driving force behind the acclaimed band ROLLOVER. As the founder, lead singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter, Louie has made an indelible mark on the rock and blues scene.

In the '90s, ROLLOVER's breakout single "Shipwreck" brought them into the spotlight on Chicago's 93.1 WXRT FM radio. The band's mesmerizing fusion of Roots Rock and Blues caught the attention of Bill Graham Management in San Francisco, making them the first Chicago rock artists signed by the legendary firm.

Louie and ROLLOVER have shared stages with rock legends like The Allman Brothers Band, Joe Satriani, and Sheryl Crow. Their relentless touring, including a successful UK tour with Joe Satriani, solidified their international success.

Louie's composition "Shipwreck" gained additional recognition when featured on A&M Records' "H.O.R.D.E. CD Sampler" in 1995. Beyond the stage, his songwriting has found a place in television and film, including shows like "The Rachael Ray Show" and "Nash Bridges."

Collaborating with Roy Marinell for the past 17 years, Louie's multifaceted talents extend to producing, engineering, and session work. As a solo artist, his CD "Twenty Fingers" showcases his musical versatility, featuring top Chicago musicians.

Today, continuing to perform with ROLLOVER, Louie's impact on the blues/rock genre is undeniable. Explore the world of Louie Zagoras and ROLLOVER for a true rock and blues experience.
