Genres: Rock, Psychedelic, Blues, Alternative Rock, Jam

Bio: Eve Casino is a four-piece independently produced rock band from the suburbs of Chicago consisting of Ryan “Haggy” Hegarty (bass/vocals), Marco Obaya (lead guitar/vocals), Sam Skilnik (rhythm guitar/keys/vocals), and Chris Taylor (drums/percussion).

With half of the band’s members being employed by the multi-platinum and diamond record producing recording studio, Enviyon Studios, the group fully embraces its’ DIY roots, utilizing their own professional connections to create their product. Dabbling in genres such as psychedelia, blues, and punk rock; while drawing comparisons to a vast array of bands from The Doors to Weezer to The Cars; the band is noncommittal to any specific form of rock music and prefers instead to celebrate their diverse range of influences. The band strives to make each live performance vary from their last, with many songs never being played the same way twice. While Eve Casino would not say they are a“jam band”, they do like to identify as “a band that happens to jam”.

While coninually building a deep catalog of both catchy immersive original songs & well-known, singalong covers, the band has developed a sense of versatility and endurance that sets them aside from many of their contemporaries, often playing live sets nearly 4 hours in length. With their new album, “Here’s the Thing”, having been released in November of 2022, the band has continued reaching new fans and reminding audiences that rock music is very much alive.

What the press is saying about Eve Casino:
“Ever so often, people say, “You know, rock is dying.” But, Eve Casino is here to prevent that from happening. Their will to play combined with their sensational compositions is reminiscent of 20th Century rock legends like The Doors, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd. True to their style and artistic vision, their releases glorify the genre in majestic ways.” - Bowe via Good Music Radar

“Eve Casino represents the future of rock music. With so much creativity and potential, there is no telling what this talented band will accomplish.” - Christian via Music Arena

“Eve Casino’s Here’s The Thing is an album that is wonderfully dense with musicality and musical ideas. Gorgeous songwriting, and intense musicality between the 4 band members make it sound like an affair of friendship and passion towards the music, rather than a job that had to be finished, especially as it stands as a self-produced record, and on these grounds alone, I found absolutely no difficulty enjoying most everything this album has to offer. For lovers of Blues, Rock, and Psychedelia, Eve Casino’s latest album will bring joy to your ears and heart.” - Moataz Gwaily via Rock Era Magazine
